    Jeffrey C. Schildhorn, MD is a fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of all sports-related injuries as well as arthroscopic and open treatment of shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and elbow injuries. He also performs joint replacement for arthritis of the shoulder, hip, and knee. He does not treat back or neck pain. Dr. Schildhorn has presented research and instructional lectures at numerous orthopedic conferences nationally. Additionally he has published articles on advanced procedures in arthroscopic surgery. A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Schildhorn excelled in many sports and was named athlete of the year in high school. He later graduated from Duke University with a degree in chemistry. There he was a member of both the cross country and track teams. He continued his education at Temple University School of Medicine, graduating with honors. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City.
