Kimberly Peters, MD is a board-certified neurologist at Mount Sinai Doctors. Dr. Peters obtained her medical degree from SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, where she also completed her neurology residency and served as chief resident. She then went on to complete a two-year fellowship in movement disorders at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where she focused on providing comprehensive care to patients with Parkinson's disease, tremor, and dystonia, and received training in the use of botulinum toxin for cervical dystonia, belpharopspasm, hemifacial spasm and spasticity. She practices general neurology and currently sees patients on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays in Chelsea and Wednesdays and Thursdays in Union Square.
